May 03, 2018 2 Comments

June 30, 2018 marks the 11th year for The HBCU Alumni Alliance Run/Walk (HBCUAA) in Atlanta, Georgia and 6th year in Washington, DC. Black Girls RUN! is proud to be back as a supporter and partner in their races this year.

"It is important that we continue to strengthen and build the relationships between organization that invest in our African American community." comments Jay Ell Alexander, Owner and CEO of Black Girls RUN!.

The HBCUAA raises much needed scholarship dollars for students in Metro-Atlanta and DC. Over the past ten years, their participants and sponsors have helped raised over $1.4 million!

“The collaboration with the HBCU Alumni Alliance and Black Girls RUN! goes back several years and is a powerful representation of both organizations commitment in promoting healthy life styles and education in our community. We are excited to continue the partnership with Black Girls RUN! and look forward to future strategic endeavors,” says Dan Ford, CoFounder of HBCUAA.

HBCUAA is a 100% volunteer fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds go towards Metro-Atlanta and DC students attending or headed to an HBCU. To register for their June 30 races, please register by clicking below and using the following discount codes.
