Let's Rock n' Roll: Black Girls RUN! Virginia Beach & Las Vegas

Being runners has turned Ashley and I into serial planners and if you're a runner, you should be too. Summer isn't quite here yet, but that hasn't stopped us from planning for fall, because really, that's our most favorite time of the year. Black Girls RUN! is happy to announce we're taking part in the Rock N' Roll series this fall! We couldn't be more excited about running this series, let alone, having the opportunity to meet other BGRs!

What: Rock N' Roll Virginia Beach 1/2 Marathon When: September 4, 2011, 7 a.m. Where: Virginia Beach, VA (aka: Toni's hood) Why: Running + the beach = heaven The sacrifice:

Course Profile: The course is flat, fast and fun with a stunning boardwalk finish. Live bands and local cheerleader squads will be lined along the course. Course Profile: Both sides of the world famous Las Vegas Boulevard – also known as The Strip – will be closed to all vehicular traffic. Runners will own the Strip from start to finish. The full 13.1 miles of the half marathon course will be on the Strip and the marathon runners will be right alongside for nearly eleven miles! The marathon & half marathon will start together on Las Vegas Boulevard near Mandalay Bay and both will finish in the Mandalay Bay parking lot. More: Registration opens May 31.
