Glow in the Park is making its first stop in the 2014 season in The Sunshine State. On March 1, Trivium Racing is coming to Bill Fredrick Park in Orlando Florida to bring one of the most unique running events to the area.Glow in the Park is a 5k fun run that is a celebration of movement and will be working to also raise money for The American Diabetes Association in Orlando.
What can you expect at Glow in the Park? If you're used to the normal 5K, you can expect the unexpected. You will get a Glowy Goodie Bag with led finger lights, a glow in the dark shirt, body paint, and much more! Throughout the run you will go through multiple Glow Stations. You will run through seas of foam to the beats of a live DJ, run as glow in the dark water rains down on you, and run through clouds of glow powder.
Once you have triumphantly reach the finish line you will finally be properly attired for the After Glow Party! A live local DJ will play as you celebrate with hundreds of new glow friends. There will also be food and refreshments available.
We are excited to partner with Trivium Racing and Glow in the Park!
"In our multiple years of putting on unique events we have never been supported more nor had more fun with any other group across the country thatn BGR. You represent what running should be, and we are humbled by this opportunity to be a part of your great experience as a runner," said Richard Swor, race director.
