The year is coming to close and we're going out with a bang. We are excited to add the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend to our 2013 race schedule!
St. Jude holds a special place in our hearts and we want to support them and all the good work that they do. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. Ranked one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals in the country, St. Jude is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. The best part? No family ever pays St. Jude for anything. Ever.
Join us as we take to the streets of downtown Memphis with an emotional journey thru the St. Jude campus and finally finishing in AutoZone Park during the Memphis Grizzlies House 5K. Be a part of something amazing- Register today for the largest 5K in Memphis! To register, click here.

KaylaMovie Star9 years oldacute lymphoblastic leukemia
For several weeks, Kayla complained of stomach aches and headaches. When Kayla’s pain became unbearable, her mom took her to the doctor. Tests revealed that Kayla’s spleen and liver were enlarged. Soon, Kayla and her mom were sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where Kayla was found to suffer from acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Her treatment includes chemotherapy for two-and-a-half years.
“We’re so thankful for St. Jude,” said Kayla’s mom. “The doctors and nurses are so caring. I can focus on Kayla and getting her well.” Kayla is an outgoing girl with a joy for life. She loves to do arts and crafts and sing. When she grows up, she wants to host her own television show.
