Now of course we didn't forget about our big we had last weekend, the Drive to End Hunger Weekend! And of course, you didn't either! I mean, come now, it was just so epic! We hope EVERYONE had a great time and that you arrived home safe. It was so exciting to see all of your faces and see folks having a great time.
Everything was a huge success starting out with the mixer! Saturday, we got to see some of our participants up close as you all were shopping for BGR gear! How 'bout that new grey BGR sweatshirt? If you didn't get a chance to get on last week, don't fret because they'll be going on sale online next week! Later that Saturday night at the Honors Dinner, we were graced by the presence of Ernestine Shepherd. She looked amazing, right? Age really is nothing but a number! We also recognized our Founders, Toni Carey and Ashley Hicks, thanking them for this movement that they have created! A special thanks was given to all of our BGR ambassadors who make sure BGR is up and running in our cities.
The next morning was.....AMAZING! 7 am never felt so good! We were up bright and early for the Drive to End Hunger 5K and 10K. Following the races, we had the hugest after party in Central Park in Atlantic Station. From wobbling to dougie-ing, you all rocked it!
