Dr. Sheena Cox is the owner of Cox Chiropractic Wellness Center with offices located in Norfolk and Chesapeake, Virginia. Cox Chiropractic Wellness Center uses clinical and scientifically proven knowledge to provide proper healthcare to prevent, treat, and heal disorders of the spine and other spinal related issues. About Dr. Sheena M. Cox
Dr. Sheena M. Cox attended Winston-Salem State University, in Winston-Salem, N.C., as an incentive scholar where she studied Biology with a concentration in Medical Science and minor in Chemistry.
Before pursuing her doctorate of chiropractic, she interned at the Chiropractic Research Institute in Winston-Salem, NC for two years, where she studied chiropractic and alternative health care. In 2009, she received her doctorate of chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, Ill. NUHS is recognized for its science-based program that is comparable to any allopathic university and allows graduates to practice as primary care physicians in certain states.
Dr. Cox is currently licensed to practice chiropractic by the Virginia Board of Medicine and is the owner of Cox Chiropractic Wellness Center, LLC located in Chesapeake (South Norfolk) and Norfolk (Ocean View) Virginia. In her practice, Dr. Cox uses the whole body health approach to treat spine and spinal related issues. Her goal as a chiropractic physician is to educate the community on chiropractic and alternative healthcare and its benefits. She strives to help every individual who is under her care increase their quality of living. She is affiliated with the American Chiropractic Association, the American Black Chiropractic Association, the Greater South Norfolk Business Consortium, the South Norfolk Civic League, The Hampton Roads Urban League Young Professionals, and Black Girls RUN!.
