Nike Air Max 2009

I've been wearing the Nike Airmax since '95. So, I was extremely excited when I saw that Nike was unveiling their latest version of the shoe. The timing couldn't be better since I need a new pair of running shoes. However, I am slightly torn between my allegiance to Nike and brands that are more popular among distance runners such as Brooks, Asics, etc. What brands do you all gravitate towards for running shoes?
