If you are like me, you don't always have time to cook breakfast. Here are a few of my favorite on the go breakfast options. 1. Amy's Breakfast Burrito - I usually don't advocate any microwave meals, but Amy's products are organic, vegetarian, non-dairy and cholesterol free. At 250 calories, it is a filling and healthy option.
2. Egg White Turkey Sausage Flatbread Sandwich from Dunkin Doughnuts - I REALLY like Dunkin Doughnuts coffee, so this is a good low-cal, high protein option when I need to stop and grab a cup of Joe and breakfast. One sandwich is 280 calories.
Lastly, I keep healthy breakfast options stashed in my office desk and in my refrigerator at work. I usually have yogurt, peanut butter, string cheese and cereal. Having these foods around saves me time in the morning and gives me no excuse not to eat the most important meal of the day.
